Luka Sabbat's Nighttime Skincare Routine Is Exactly What You'd Expect

Luka Sabbat may be one of the hottest stars in Hollywood right now- but when it comes to his skincare, he’d much rather keep it cold. In this episode of Go To Bed With Me, Sabbat- who just launched a partnership with Evian water- walks us through his minimal skin prep. We caught up with the star at the newly renovated The Ritz-Cartol New York City Central Park to talk skincare.

The first step in his nightly routine involves splashing his face with cold water. “I like cold water, so people like hot water. I don’t like hot water- unless it’s in my tea,” he says. Next he reaches for the Neutrogena Deep Clean Cooling Gel Scrub. He loves this cleanser because- you might have guessed- it feels cold on the skin. “IT makes my face cold. It is very chilly, it is cold, it is refreshing. My favorite part of Icy Hot is icy,” he says before taking off his rings to rinse it off. “Also, you know, every time you do your routine, your makeup, whatever. You know who Elmo always spoke about in third person? Wow, he’s glowing. He looks great. His face looks refreshed. I feel like he probably put cold water on it.”

The second step in his routine is matcha toner in a twist-up tube by Milk Makeup. “Also cold. Three cold things, you know? I like the feeling of cold on my face because a lot of times I’m tired. And every time cold wakes me up”, he says.

Every once in a while, Sabbat will use a sheet mask- if he’s with women who suggest it. But he picked up a rubber mask from brand Dr. Jart, which he thought said DJ Art. “Look how scary I’m about to look. They feel like goop, and what that word feels like to you”, he says before applying the mask.

“Last step, this is my favorite part. Because this shit actually works. This is Peter Thomas Roth eye mask- it works,” he says enthusiastically. “Peep this right here. Boom. See these bags? See how puffy this shit is? I swear to god, this shit works every time. I leave them on usually about ten minutes, then you’re good.”

Sabbat ends his routine with some tried-and-true advice: drink more water. He also notes that he gets facials every two weeks to keep his skin looking fresh. “Also, I only get straight razor shades. Those always last longer. Hydrate yourself, take care of yourself. You should pamper yourself. Pamper yourself, hydrate yourself, that’s a fact,” he says.
