Fashion Blogger Paola Alberdi Nighttime Skincare Routine

From Harper’s Bazaar - Paola Alberdi is many things-fashion influencer, stylist, and creative director of Blank Itinerary. She's also constantly trying new beauty products. In the latest episode of #GoToBedWithMe, the Instagram star shows us exactly how she keeps her skin looking so fresh and glowy.

"I feel like my skincare really depends a lot on how much makeup I wear that day," says Paola Alberdi, also known as Blank Itinerary to her nearly million Instagram followers.. "I've been at New York Fashion Week, and I've been wearing a lot of makeup—much more than I usually wear." She starts her routine with Farmacy's Green Clean cleanser, which she just picked up at Sephora. "I always say Sephora is like Target, you can't go in for just one thing," she says. "It almost starts melting into your face. I have normal to dry skin, so I always look for cleanser that won't dry out my skin as much."

Next, she wipes off any excess makeup residue with French pharmacy staple Bioderma, a micellar cleanser. Once or twice a week, she'll follow that with Dr. Brandt's Microdermabrasion exfoliant. "By now, my skin is super clean and ready to start the skincare," she says. "Next I use SK-II Facial Treatment Essence...I got a lot of melasma after pregnancy. I started using it and noticed that my discoloration started getting better and overall tone." She follows the essence with a few drops of Osmosis Rescue Epidermal Repair Serum, which she says also helps with discoloration, and then a few drops of the Skin Inc. Serum Infused Night Oil.

After her serums soak in, she moves on to moisturizer. The one she's been using for several months is the Retrouvé Intense Replenishing Facial Moisturizer. "It has a weird color to be honest, the first time I put it on my husband was like, 'what so you have on your skin? It looks so weird,'" she says with a laugh. Next comes a healthy dose of the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream. "I do a lot of moisturizing at night because when I wake up, I don't do a lot of skincare," she adds. "I wake up, wash my face, and put like SPF. I just want my skin to feel very hydrated."
