Arielle Charnas' Nighttime Skincare Routine

(Previously posted on Harper’s Bazaar)

Arielle Charnas is a blogger, influencer, and the founder of Something Navy. Charnas recently launched her own breakout fashion line with Nordstrom, named for her blog, and is mom to two Insta stars in their own right, Ruby and Esme. In this episode of Get Ready With Me, Charnas shares her nighttime routine and all of her must-have products that she uses to keep her skin glowing.

Arielle says that throwing on her Something Navy pajamas and taking her makeup office her favorite time of day- and we don’t blame her. She also puts her hair back in a LoveShackFancy scrunchie to keep her long locks out of the way during her routine.

First, she removes her eye makeup with a sensitive skin Micellar water by Bioderma. Charnas says she eliminated oils and reassessed the ingredients in her products after her skin started reacting badly while she was pregnant.

She cleanses using a Dr. Barbara Strum foaming cleanser both day and night, wetting her face first. “I love how light is feels on the face, it doesn’t feel like a face wash”, she says. Next is a masque by Biologique Recherche. “It’s the most hydrating mask ever,” she says. “It makes your skin super glow the next day.”

After rinsing off the mask, which she says makes her feel like a “new person,” she pats on a Kora Organics Oil to her face. Next is the Drunk Elephant Whipped Cream moisturizer. Arielle then tops off her face with Dr. Barbara Strum’s eye cream, “I’m not a big eye cream person, but I feel like my mom’s like ‘be smart, start applying it as soon as possible,”’ she jokes. Arielle says she met skincare guru Strum through her husband, Brandon, and instantly fell in love with her skincare philosophy.

She takes her hair down and adds a Briogeo overnight hair treatment to “help revive and treat damaged hair.” Lastly she applies Lanolips balm on her lips. With that, she’s done with her routine, and ready to tuck Ruby in for bed.
